No You Are Not

A couple of days that I w in the hospital I was sleeping or what yo can call sleeping because they do not let your sleep in the hospital. I found the answer to that though. They said that your body looks like it in a coma state when you are asleep and that is not what they want to see, so that is why the take all your vital signs several time at night.

Now I came into the hospital with a severe headache and they did some tests on my and did a few scan of my head. What the found was that I had bleeding in my brain. Those tests where funky as one was doing some drumming of sorts and I had to stay really still while they were doing it. I have heard others say that they get claustrophobia laying in the scan machine. I did though and was wondering about all the drummin there was with the sounds. They also did one with lights and colors. I don't know what all of them were but one was an ultrasound and the other was an MRI. Those were taken about an hour after I was in the room waiting to be admitted. After all the blood tests and blood pressure being taken they told me that I had Diabetes and that was what caused my severe headache and bleeding in my brain. After a few months of that I know that there are certain other things that cause the High Sugar and High Blood pressure and I am thinking now, after the facts that I have considered that I do not have Diabetes at all but something else. My blood Pressure was something like 240 or something close to that and my Sugar was 200 and my A1C was at a 11. Two months later my A1C was at a 9 and getting lower by the minute. I am on a diet and take something for the Diabetes and took myself off the HP meds. This one thing that I am on its totally natural with no side effects and is FDA approved. GLUCOMANNAN It helps with my heart burn too, a good side effect I think. So I am doing fine not taking anything prescribed for the Diabetes that they say that I have, but show no other signs of except the HP and Sugar levels that have come way down.I know it was the high stress level that I was in and since that is gone I am doing much better. I am also taking extra Vitamins for this. That is Garlic, Vitamin "A" and Vitamin "C". I have been taking lots of these as well as the natural Blood cleanser and thinner Vitamin "E".

More listed in my blog: My Stroke At 62

Knowing the signs of Diabetes is one things but to say that is what I have just due to the High Sugar and Blood Pressure is not what I call acceptable when there are other things that they do not even check out that you may have. Several that is.

The early signs and symptoms of type 2 diabetes can include:

Frequent urination. ... Don't have this one
Increased thirst. ... Don't have this one either
Always feeling hungry. ...
Feeling very tired. ...
Blurry vision. ...
Slow healing of cuts and wounds. ...
Tingling, numbness, or pain in the hands or feet. ...not me
Patches of dark skin. Nope I don't have this either unless the count my Rosacea.

The news and all those commercial on T.V. have been reporting that there are lots of cases of Diabetes 2 then there ever was before. THAT is what they look for and tell you that you have, in my opinion and automatically put you on certain drugs. Some of which already have lawsuits on them.

After three days without food I began to ask when am I going to get something to eat. I was told that they had to check if I could swallow. Oh My Goodness! I told them that I could. I wasn't drooling at anytime. Several times I was thought that I had Diabetes and I showed them that I do not. I am not the only one who is/went through this either.(Link Below) When they talked to the rehab people they brought me a walker and some other rehab things. I was told to get out of bed and I did and the put that walker right in front of me. I told them I didn't need a walker. I walked down the hall all by myself! Several times in fact and was not falling down or anything like that. That was only a few signs that I did NOT have that I had a stroke. Yes I do realize that is normal for those who have had a stroke such as I did. I am not that way! My body reacts differently to things and is not the same as anyone else. I think that I am part Alien! LOL

I also told them that I am not up all night having to relieve my bladder and most times I only need to do that once a night between 1-2:30 pm depending on when I go to bed or to sleep.. I told them that several times. That is another symptom of Diabetes 2 that I do not have. I don't usually go to the bathroom all that much during the day unless I drink coffee or lots of tea. I hate water and I drink just enough to get my pills/vitamins down with.

A few days in the hospital and I ask to go to the bathroom to relieve my bladder at 8 pm and then laid back down, which was difficult because I had IV's in both my arms. About two hours later a nurse that I never seen before comes in and sticks a probe in my private part. I was a bit shocked and she did not tell me that she was going to do that or even why. She said that I had not relived my bladder on her shift, which started about 2 hours after I first relieved myself. Anyone knows that they have to measure your output all the time. So I asked her why she was doing that and she told me that I had not relieved myself on her shift. I told her that I will not do anything until about 2:00 AM. I really did not like her down there in my privates without my permission. So I thought that was taken care of and not see her for 4 hours or so. Good Grief she came back an hour later and stuck that thing (ultra-sound device) in my privates again! She asked if I had any urge and I told her no. She said that my body part was extended and full. I said so what. She said again that she was going to put a catheter in me to get my pee out. I said No You Are Not. She said that she will have to talk to her supervisor. I said that was fine bu she was Not going to do that. Then it was about 1:30 and I had to relieve myself and told her that I needed to. Well I didn't do much then and she asked me if I was purposely holding it in from her. I said No. Again I did not have an urge to go. We got into a heated discussion at that time an I did raise my voice so that anyone in the vicinity of my room would hear. She said that she was going to put a catheter in me. I said NO YOU ARE NOT! She said that she would have to talk with her supervisor about it and I said go right ahead. She came back and told me again what she was going to do and I got louder and said NO YOU ARE NOT! I am telling you that if she tried to do that I would kick her. No kidding! She said that her supervisor told her to wait until about 6 in the morning and then see if I pass my water, which I did and an hour later too.

So they expect some things when they think that you are supposed to fit the mould. I still don't go the the bathroom only once a night. I am on the fence about this incident being Elder Abuse. Not going there and No You Are Not putting anything in my privates with my permission...EVER. I don't care who your are, what sex you are, or your title but , No You Are Not.
